The School District of Milton intends to spend between $400,000 and $500,000 improving the tennis courts and parking lot at Central Park.

City Administrator Al Hulick says the city needs to transfer the park to the school district to facilitate the project.

Hulick says the park and it’s facilities will still be available for public use.

The Milton City Council unanimously approved transferring the Central Park property to the School District of Milton at their meeting Tuesday night.

The agreement still needs to be approved by the School District of Milton.
