A little planning is expected to help one local community clear the streets of snow this winter.  Many communities are warning residents the worker shorter may cause delays in snow removal.  Janesville officials say plans are in place to ensure enough personnel are available to drive the snow plows.  The city has the practice of cross-training workers in other departments to drive in the event of snow emergencies.  These efforts were stepped up during the pandemic to cover any illnesses.
