The Janesville Police Department is investigating a racist social media post created by a Milton High School student.

Janesville Police say investigation determined that the act originated in Janesville and are currently interviewing involved parties.

According to a news release, investigation, to this point, has determined that both student athletes depicted in the meme are juveniles and that neither participated in the creation or distribution of it.

The image was circulated using the social media platform, Snapchat.
