A COVID-19 outbreak is prompting a local school district to close one of its elementary buildings to in-person classes. Milton officials say the district has been working with the Rock County Health Department to monitor the spread of COVID-19 in the area. As of Thursday a significant number of students attending Consolidated Elementary were either in isolation or have been directed to quarantine due to confirmed cases at the school. As a result, Consolidated is transitioning to virtual instruction. Parents are asked to make arrangements to pick up their student’s I-Pads before 4:00 p.m. Friday The district hopes to return to in-person learning on Thursday, November 18th.
