The number of new daily confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Rock County nearly doubles over the last two weeks.

Rock County Public Health Department Epidemiologist Nick Zupan says currently there are about 800 active cases.

Rock County is currently averaging about 64 new cases of COVID-19 per day.

At the end of last month, Rock County was averaging about 32 new cases per day.

Zupan says almost 58 percent percent of the Rock County population has gotten at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and nearly 55 percent have completed the vaccine series.
