The Janesville Police Department making the public aware of a of convicted sex offender who is moving in to the community.

39-year-old Joshua Steven Sweat moved to 7 North Academy Street in Janesville on November 4th.

Sweat was convicted of of second-degree sexual assault of a child in 2006, and again in 2009.

Sweat is a lifetime registrant which requires him to register with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry and must comply with GPS monitoring.
