An investigation is underway into a early morning fire on Beloit’s west side.  Fire officials are reporting a fatality.  Firefighters responded to a two story home in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue at 4:18 a.m. Friday.  Damage to the home is described as extensive.  Fire officials say more details will be released later Friday.
