Janesville Police are looking for the owner of a dog that fatally bit another dog on Halloween.

According to a news release, just before 5:00 p.m. on October 31st, a black German Shepherd type dog that was off leash, attacked another dog that was being walked on the soccer fields at the Youth Sports Complex.

The owner of the dog did not identify himself and left the area with the dog in a black full-sized pickup truck, squealing his tires in the process.

The dog that was attacked later died from it’s injuries.

The owner of the attacking dog is described as a thin white man, who is about five feet, nine inches tall, with no facial hair.
