Janesville Police are investigating the robbery of a credit union.

According to a news release, officers were dispatched to First Community Credit Union on North Pontiac Drive just before 9:30 Tuesday morning.

Investigation determined the suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money and threatening to be in possession of a gun, however no weapon was displayed.

The suspect fled south on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The incident remains under investigation.
