A Beloit business owner, known for mentoring other businesses, is running for both the Rock County Board and Beloit City Council.  Genia Stevens says she feels she can be much more effected by being a member of both bodies.  Stevens was appointed to the county board in March.  She describes herself as a goal oriented strategic planner and facilitator.  She’s also a 20-year business owner and was recently named a YWCA Rock County Woman of Distinction.
