More than a dozen Rock County businesses fail recent alcohol compliance checks.

According to a news release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, compliance checks were conducted at bars and liquor stores on Monday utilizing underage adults under the supervision of deputies.

Business that were cited include Boundaries Bar & Grill in Beloit, Boxcars Pub & Grub in Clinton, Casey’s General Store in Beloit, Chubby Bubba’s in Janesville, Cougar Lanes in Clinton, Dollar General on Highway 51 in Janesville, Gar-Mins Bottoms Up in Beloit, Grover’s Spirits in Beloit, Hanson’s Hollow in Janesville, M & R Food Mart in Clinton, Riverside Gas Mart in Beloit, Rock N Rogers North in Clinton, and The Table in Afton.

The clerk or bartender at each of these establishments received a $452 citation.
