Beloit Police are investigating a drive-by shooting.

According to a Facebook post, a woman and a small child were traveling in a vehicle in the area of Park Avenue and Bushnell Street just before 7:30 Tuesday morning when their car was shot at and struck by gunfire.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing an orange and black coat with a mask on his face. He was believed to be traveling in a white Chevrolet Malibu last seen headed west on Bushnell Street.
