Beloit Police say tips from the public helped bust a hit and run driver.

According to a Facebook post the driver of a black Nissan Altima hit another vehicle on Cranston Road on December 13th and fled towards Freeman Parkway.

Beloit Police posted photos of the debris from the suspect vehicle on their Facebook page.

Beloit Police say tips from the public lead them to the suspect vehicle, and the driver was cited for hit-and-run Tuesday.
