Clausen Quality Chocolates isn’t the only company making a splash in Milton.

City Administrator Al Huelick says a local home theater screen manufacturer is also expanding.

Huelick says Carl’s Place is constructing a new 60,000 square foot building along County M and Putman Parkway.

As part of a tax incremental financing agreement for the project, the City of Milton is selling the eight acre plot of land for the facility to Carl’s Place for $1.00. The City will be repaid in new property taxes over the next 10 years.
