A 35-year-old town of Plymouth man is taken into custody on gun charges.

Janesville Police say just before 12:30 Friday morning officers were dispatched to the report of a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Rockport Road.

Officers made contact with Michael K. Hudson who was sitting inside the vehicle. While on officer spoke with Hudson at the driver’s side window, a second officer at the passenger window observed him attempting to conceal a handgun near the center console.

Hudson was arrest on suspicion of operating while intoxicated second offense, carrying a concealed weapon, and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.
