The wait is over for the City of Janesville’s new Pay It Forward Grant Program.

The deadline for non-profits to submit applications for grants for 50 thousand to one million dollars is February 28.

According to Assistant to the City Manager Erin Davis, a written report with receipts and detailed expenses must be submitted by certain local non-profits in order to receive funding.

Davis says long-term projects must consent to intermittent reporting, and if somebody is holding funds they’ve not spent by December 2024, plans will be made to hear from them about what’s happening, the amount spent, and future spending plans.
