The School District of Beloit implements new protocols for sporting events after a 19-year-old man is shot to death outside a high school basketball game Saturday night.

Each student will now receive three tickets to their sporting event and ticket holders must have their names entered on an admittance roster.

Beloit Memorial High School students attending home games will be required to sign-up using an electronic form by 4:00 p.m. on the day of the event.

Freshman and Junior Varsity teams will be required to leave at the conclusion of their away games.

The same rules apply for visiting athletes.

In addition, Beloit Police will have an increased presence at games and security will be conducting periodic checks of the parking lots.
