Beloit Police are investigating the report of an armed carjacking.

According to a Facebook post, a woman was sitting in her vehicle in the 1400 block of Central Avenue just before 7:00 p.m. on February 1st when she was approached by two people.

The victim reported that one suspect opened the driver’s door while the other opened the passenger door.

The suspects held the victim at gunpoint, hit her in the head with the barrel of the gun, and forced her out of the vehicle before fleeing.

The vehicle was recovered the next day in another City.
