A financial literacy bill loses support from 43rd Assembly District Representative Don Vruwink. Vruwink tells WCLO’s “Your Talk Show” he and the School Board Association disagree with the bill’s inclusion of a full year financial literacy class. He says school districts have 23, 24 credit graduation limits and if another two-semester credit gets added, it’s going to create a barrier. He says if it runs an entire school year, it kicks out a course students may need for a well-rounded education.
