There will be at least two new faces on the Beloit Board of Education in April after one of the Incumbents is eliminated in Tuesday’s primary.

With 11 candidates seeking four open seats on the school board, the top eight-vote getters are moving on to the April election.

The three candidates with the lowest number of votes who were eliminated include Incumbent Allison Semrau, and newcomers DeVon McIntyre and Matthew Windmoeller-Schmit.

The candidates who move on the the spring election include incumbents Megan Miller and Gregg Schneider along with newcomers Torie Champeny, J’Juan Winfield Sr., Kathy Larson, Christine Raleigh, Ryan McKillips, and Brian Anderson.
