The Salvation Army Rock County’s 2021 Christmas campaign raises a total of $532,000.

Major Tom McDowell says while that’s about $34,000 short for the Red Kettle campaign goal, 2021 was a banner fundraising year so it won’t have too much of an impact on programs and services.

McDowell says the turnout for bell-ringing itself was good with 24 percent of shifts covered in 2021 compared to just 19 percent covered in 2020.
