A local non-partisan political organization hosts a school board candidate forum assisted by Whitewater high school students. Whitewater Area League of Women Voters Co-President Ellen Penwell says they collaborated with Whitewater High School American Government teacher Greg Stewart to have students assist with the forum. Penwell says students will serve as moderators and question checkers as well as be able to have their own questions included. She says the students will work alongside league members in that capacity. According to a news release, the Whitewater Unified School District School Board candidate forum is Saturday in the City of Whitewater Council Chambers.
