Now that the Monterey Area River Restoration is complete the City of Janesville is looking to develop a master plan for the park.

The City is looking to make better use of the area that used to be the youth softball and football fields which have been relocated the Youth Sport Complex

Parks Director Cullen Slapak says the public is invited to share their thoughts at a community engagement forum at 6:00 Wednesday night at City Hall.

Slapak says ideas from the public will give city staff a basis for applying for DNR grants that could help fund improvements in the future.
