A suspect is under arrest in connection with the robbery of a Beloit bank Tuesday afternoon.

According to a Facebook post, officers were dispatched to Advia Credit Union on the 700 block of 4th Street just after noon on March 15th.

The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money, and fled on foot after receiving some cash.

An update to the post Wednesday morning says a suspect had been taken into custody in connection with the incident and that more details would be provided later.
