In-person absentee voting for the April 5th election begins next week at the Janesville Clerk-Treasurer’s Office.
City Clerk Lori Stottler says the hours are 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. from March 22nd until March 31st and from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on April 1st.
If you plan on voting absentee by mail for the April 5th election, ballot requests should be made sooner rather than later.
Stottler says they need to be returned in person or mailed as the drop box outside City Hall will not be in use.
Stottler says if you plan on voting in-person, be sure to check myvote.wi.gov as some polling places have changed.
