A change to Janesville City ordinances could lead more entertainment venues to come to town.

Until recently Janesville businesses who want a Class “B” beer only license had to have 50 percent of their sales come from food.

The Janesville City Council heard first reading of an ordinance change on Monday night that would move the food restriction on Class “B” beer only licenses and set a public hearing for April 11th.

The Janesville Alcohol License Advisory was in favor of the change.
