The City of Janesville highlights the commitment of the volunteers that are critical to making things run.

Communications Specialist Nick Faust says the annual Volunteer Appreciation and Awards Ceremony will take place on April 21st at 3:30 p.m. at City Hall.

The program will include presentation of five different Volunteer of the Year awards.

The public is encouraged to attend the event and help recognize the positive impact volunteers make on the community.

National Volunteer Week runs April 17th through the 23rd.
