A 25-year-old Beloit man who’s accused of firing the shots he reported to police is bound over for for trial.
Ned J. Guerra appeared in Rock County Court Monday where he waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of second degree recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct.
Guerra stood mute to the charges and a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf. A jury trial is planned for a future date.
Beloit police say Guerra originally reported to them, someone shot at him from a car in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue on March 29th.
A police review of video surveillance in the area led officers to believe it was Guerra who fired the shots.
