The 19-year-old Janesville man accused of beating up a woman and then trying to run her and the two good Samaritans who intervened over with his car, makes his initial appearance in Rock County Court.
Daequan Hanna is charged with disorderly conduct, battery, and three counts of recklessly endangering safety in connection with the incident that occurred early Monday morning on the 1400 block of Starling Lane.
During the heat of the incident one of the two good Samaritans fired a gun at Hanna’s approaching vehicle in self defense.
In court on Wednesday Rock County Court Commissioner Stephen Meyer set Hanna’s bail at $500 cash.
He’s due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance on May 10th.
