A 21-year-old man is facing charges after Beloit police say he drove a Chevy Camaro into the Rock River.  Officers say Kenneth Pindral was traveling at a high rate of speed east on Liberty Avenue just before midnight Thursday, when he ran a red light on Fourth Street and flew into the river.  Police say Pindral was able to escape out the driver’s side window and safely swim to shore, but the car was completely submerged.  The Rock County Sheriff’s Dive Team is expected to retrieve the vehicle Friday.  Pindral was arrested on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated.
