The 27-year-old Chicago woman accused of stalking her ex-boyfriend in Janesville, breaking into his house, and attacking him, takes a plea deal in Rock County court.

Nicole Dunlap pleaded guilty Friday morning to battery to a law enforcement officer, strangulation, intimidating a victim, battery, criminal trespass to a dwelling, and bail jumping.

Additional charges of resisting an officer, disorderly conduct, and five counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record.

Judge John withheld sentence on the charges and order Dunlap to serve a total of 12 years of probation.

At the time of Dunlap’s arrest last November she was out on bond for three previous threats or assaults towards the victim.

The arresting officers says she lunged at one officer and struck him in the face.
