The 28-year-old Janesville man accused of stabbing another driver in the head last month in connection with a road rage incident is bound over for trial.

In Rock County Court Monday morning Damien S. Walls waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of first degree recklessly endangering safety, substantial battery, disorderly conduct, possession with intent to deliver THC, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Walls pleaded not guilty to the charges and Court Commissioner Jack Hoag ordered a jury trial to be set.

Janesville Police say Walls and another driver confronted each other after a near collision in the area of Main and Racine Streets the evening of April 20th.

Walls is accused of stabbing the other driver in the head.

He’s currently being held on a $2,500 cash bond.
