A new type of plant sale is being held tomorrow and Saturday at the Edgerton Hospital for locals. Healing Garden Manager Mark Dwyer says it’s a fundraiser first and foremost which helps support the hospital’s 3-acre healing garden. Dwyer says the main reason for the sale is because the hospital and garden promote health and wellness. They feel by offering a variety of vegetables and herbs for people to grow at home, they’re getting individuals the opportunity to explore new culinary directions like trying something new to grow. Sale proceeds primarily benefit the healing garden.
