A local high school stands out at the top of the pack according to U.S. News & World Report.

The 2022 Best High Schools list ranks Milton High School the number one High School in the Janesville area, which includes all of the high schools in Rock County.

The Best High Schools rankings take a comprehensive approach to evaluating schools looking at factors like graduation rates and underserved student performance.

Superintendent Richard Dahman says the rankings evaluate more than 17,800 schools.

Dahman says this ranking validates all of the hard work the educators in Milton do every day.
