A 22-year-old Monroe woman is under arrest following a three-vehicle hit and run accident.

According to a news release, officers were dispatched to the three-vehicle accident in the 1400 block of 17th Avenue just after 2:30 Thursday morning.

Investigation determined that the suspect vehicle had hit a parked car that was propelled into a second parked car.

Officers followed the trail of fluids from the suspect vehicle that left the scene and caught up with Ashlyn R. Sheafor in the 2300 block of 17th Avenue.

Sheafor was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated second offense, and was also cited for hit and run to an unattended vehicle, operating after revocation, operating with no insurance, inattentive driving, and failure to notify police of an accident.

She was also charged with three counts of bail jumping.
