A second suspect is sentenced to prison in connection with the June 2021 homicide in Beloit.

19-year-old Elontae Phiffer had been charged with party to the crime of first degree intentional homicide in connection with the shooting death of 25-year-old Drevian Allen in the 1700 block of Porter Avenue in Beloit in June of last year.

Phiffer and two others are accused of getting into a dispute with the victim over the sale of a used car prior to the fatal shooting.

In Rock County Court last month, Phiffer plead guilty to a reduced charge of party to the crime of second degree recklessly endangering safety.

At his sentencing hearing Friday Judge Karl Hanson sentenced Phiffer to four years of prison followed by five years of extended supervision.

19-year-old Journee Weathers – who police believe was the shooter – plead guilty in March to first degree reckless homicide. He’s scheduled to be sentenced June 16th.

20-year-old Damon Allen plead guilty to the same charge as Phiffer last month and was sentenced to five years of probation.
