Beloit’s tourism marketing organization doles out more than $6000 in joint effort tourism grants.

Visit Beloit Executive Director Celestino Ruffini says the intent of the J.E.T. grant program is to assist other not-for-profit organizations in developing and marketing events and activities.

The Wright Museum at Beloit College was awarded $550 for marketing their summer exhibitions, Kubb United was awarded $1,500 for marketing the sixth annual Beloit U.S. Kubb Open, and a new event – the Stateline Hispanic Heritage Heritage Festival received $4000.

Ruffini says Visit Beloit has distributed more than $375,000 in grant funds to stateline non profits since 2009.
