Around 140 union employees at MercyHealth East will not be striking today.

UAW Local 95 President Tim Silha says members ratified a three-year contract Thursday by a substantial vote.

The approximately 140 union employees that include everyone but the doctors were planning to walk off the job at 10:00 a.m. (Friday) if contract negotiations failed.
