Tourism Economics and Travel Wisconsin reports show 2021 as a recovery year for Janesville and Wisconsin’s tourism. Janesville Area Convention & Visitor’s Bureau Executive Director Christine Rebout thinks we’ll see tourism spending continue to increase in 2022 and 2023. Rebout says while Janesville has had rises in leisure spending, they know corporate spending for meeting and conference events will have improvement coming in the next few years. She says she sees a strong outlook for the next two to three years. According to a news release, Janesville’s overall economic impact facts and figures almost reached pre-pandemic levels.
