The School District of Beloit taps Executive Director of Teaching, Learning, and Equity Theresa Morateck to step in as Superintendent Designee.
A letter to district families says the school board is confident in Morateck’s leadership abilities and acknowledge her dedication to continuing to work collaboratively with District staff and the Board of Education during this time.
The district plans to have an interim superintendent in place by the beginning of August.
This person will guide and lead the District through the remainder of the summer and help get the new school year started, working with District staff and the Board, until a superintendent is selected.
The goal is to have a permanent superintendent in place by October.
