Traffic control updates on West Milwaukee Street are the topic of a special city council meeting this week.
According to an agenda posted to the City of Janesville’s website, the council will discuss four-way stop signs at the intersections where West Milwaukee Street meets Jackson and Rivers Streets during a meeting at 1:00 Friday afternoon.
City Engineer Brad Reents says the results of a traffic engineering study will be presented to the council to see if those intersections meet the criteria for all-way stop signs.
Reents says the council will also discuss centerline pedestrian or speed limit signs on West Milwaukee Street and no turn on red signs at the Five Points East intersection.
