Janesville City Manager Mark Freitag appears to be aggressively hunting for a new job.

Not only is Freitag one of five finalists for the position of City Manager/ Public Utilities General Manager in Ketchikan, Alaska, he’s also one of three finalists for the position of City Manager in Westminster, Colorado.

Freitag also applied for the job of City Manager in Beaumont, Texas where he was not selected as one of the three finalists.

Freitag was recently a finalist for the position of Vice Chancellor of administrative affairs at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater however he was passed over for that position.

Freitag was been the City Manager in Janesville since December of 2013.
