Drivers in Walworth County should plan ahead as road work begins on sections of Highway X next month.

Deputy County Highway Commissioner Barry Pierce says reclamite is an oil-based rejuvenation application that delays a roadway’s aging process.

Pierce says the work which will run from the Rock County line to Wise Road, from the East Village of Darien limits to County Highway K, and from Creek Road to Saint Lawrence Drive, is expected to take four or five days.

Drivers can expect delays as traffic is reduced to a single lane with flaggers.
