The Janesville Police Department conducts training focused on responding to an active threat in a church or school setting.

According to a news release, rapid response/active threat training will take place from 5:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and School for the training.

Janesville Police says residents can expect a lot of police activity area although there will be no danger to the public.
