The Village of Orfordville and the Lions Club recently got some much needed help in clearing an area for a future walking path.

Team Rubicon Volunteer Communications Lead Kevin Ryan says they got a lot accomplished, having completed about a years worth of work in just one day. Ryan noted they could return to help complete the project if needed in a couple of months.

Ryan says helping out was part of their “Neighbor to Neighbor” program to help local communities, and that in between helping clean up after disasters they look for opportunities to help communities while also training their volunteers.

The area cleaned up was located behind the Village Hall in Orfordville.
