
A community celebration of Beloit’s history takes place this weekend during Heritage Days 2022.
Beloit Historical Society Executive Director Donna Langford says that for the first time since 2018, the public will be allowed to enter the Hanchett-Bartlett Homestead for tours and they will have a historic cricket re-enactor on the grounds for those interested in learning about the sport.
Langford says the historical society will host as variety of exhibits at the Lincoln Center on toys and games, early 20th century fashion, Lincoln Junior High School, and a photographic exhibit on the Fairbanks Flats.
The Lincoln Center exhibits will be available Friday, September 9th and the Hanchett-Bartlett tours will be on Saturday, September 10th.
