A 26-year old Beloit man charged with first degree intentional homicide exercises his right to have a preliminary hearing.

Daemon Hanna appeared in front of Court Commissioner Stephen Meyer Friday afternoon where he was represented by Russell Jones.

Beloit Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of West Grand Avenue in March of last year where they found 33-year old Jordan Jefferson had been fatally shot.

Hanna will appear for his preliminary hearing on September 26th, he is currently being held on a $500,000 cash bond after being arrested at the end of July in Madison.
