Kessenich says the city of Janesville committed to adding a fifth ambulance at the beginning of the year, and the funding will allow them get some equipment they might not have been able to get on the front side of the year.

Evers gave out a total of $32 million dollars in flex grants to EMS providers across the state., with the Janesville Fire Department receiving $141,500.
