Out of eight local candidate forums local League of Women Voters Chapter attempt to organize, only two see both candidates agreeing to participate.

Janesville League of Women Voters Board member Lisa Johnson says it’s disappointing as they are non-partisan events.

There will be a Rock County Sheriff candidate forum on September 28th in Janesville and a 45th Assembly District candidate forum in Beloit on October 12th.

All of the Republican candidates in the 11th and 15th Senate Districts and the 31st, 33rd, 43rd, and 44th Assembly Districts refused to participate.
