The Woodman Sports and Convention Center Design Team may have settled on a floor plan, but more work still needs to be done before the project can be put up for bid.

Public Works Director Mike Payne says the team was given two different floor plans, one with aluminum bleachers on one side of the proposed ice rink and the original concept with stadia style seating on either side.

Payne says the team eliminated the aluminum bleacher option and decided to focus on the original concept given by the designers but with a few tweaks to try and help with cost.

Payne says the group has had good discussions over the last few weeks, but at some point the committee needs to decide on what the project will look like give direction to the designers so they can get beyond the conceptual phase.

No updated price points were given and the committee will meet again at the beginning of November to try and move forward on the project.
